Well if you dont recall i was ranting and raving last month on how i hate the CHP( and I still do), but it seams that i came out on top with this one. I had to spend half a day in Stockton (not the best place to park an ITR if you know what i mean) and pay 10 bucks for my 3 fix it tickets and now i have proof from the state referee that my exaust is leagal( just barely with a 94.9DB where 95 is the legal max). life is sweet for me today. also the exhaust i passed with is an Apexi N1(with silancer) so for all those who doubt it could pass it will ha! anyways anyone who has to do the same thing out in CA please feel free to pm me and i can give you an idea of how it goes down.

what sup Paul, I got stopped a couple a weeks ago for the same thing. Ironically I also have the Apex N1 exhaust on my R. what can i do to fix it.

best bet/cheapest...put the silencer in. If that is still over the limit, then all you can really do is take it off...

When they cited you for your exhaust, did they take pictures of it?
Would they know if i change it from one modified exhaust to another? Say put on a mugen(quietest modified exhaust i know) and say I was pulled over for that?

as for the second Q no they dont take a picture of it but they do ask the make and model of it, so in my case i told them Apexi, but i didnt want to tell them the model...wasnt sure if he would say some **** about CARB so i said i didnt know the model name

also the model name is on my paperwork...i'll try to scan it next time im at my dads place so you guys can see what it looks like, but someones gonna have to show me how to post up pics
