Default Bought a 91 GS... some problem..

while driving.. i get this hesitation at part throttle between 1000 and 3000 rpms.. i have no idea what it could be, if i floor it, it goes away.. but if im jsut holding it steady is will stumble all over it self.. other then the car is great, 5 speed, 124k pretty good shape, ill post some pics in a little bit..

I had the same problem on a 91 ls, I changed the fuel filter had no problems after that.

had same problem on my 91..did a tune-up and it went away!

Yeah, I would try fuel filter if it consistently hesitates in that range.

I've had a few DAs, when that was happening: once it was cured with a tune-up, another time it was the fuel pump beginning to go bad.....eventually it just quit and left me stranded. And yet another time it was my dizzy acting up, till one day it just went, had to get a new one. Moral is- address the problem before you get stranded........good luck

Fuel filter, but new spark plugs, filter, and oil will make things all better again.
