Converting a 99 JDM B18C-R to OBD-1 - what injectors?
I'm trying to convert a 99 JDM ITR engine to OBD-1 to run it in an EG hatch. I have the stock wiring harness from the OBD-2 B18C-R and the OBD-1 D16Z6. I've read that the JDM ITR injector size is the same as US - 240cc. I've also read they are larger, either 270, 280, or 290cc. I want to use OBD-1 injectors to use the OBD-1 wiring harness, so what OBD-1 injectors will work?
I guess first I need to know what the stock 99 JDM ITR injector size is, and then what stock OBD-1 injectors are the same cc's. Thanks.

Re: (navin)
He can not run the OBD-2 harness because its jdm so the plugs are on the opposite side for rhd. He could modifiy but would take a lot of work. Just run the OBD-1 and just find any civic or integra injectors, there all the same size.

That works too.

first off...
If you can find yourself a US 96-01 integra engine harnes (vtec preferably), get it. It will plug directly (plug n' play) into your EG civic even though its an OBD2 engine harness and yet, it will plug onto all of the electronic devices found on the 99 JDM ITR engine you have (distributor, alternator, injectors, etc). Its backwards compatible with OBD1 chassis's. Some plugs will not be used though, dont' worry, all will work. You can't use the JDM harness, as stated by the others, its main plugs are located on the wrong side of the harness. Then all you gotta do is run the D16Z6 ecu (P28); having it reprogrammed is highly suggested though.
second...
If you don't wanna go that route, then you'll need to get an OBD1 B-series distributor, alternator (or cut + splice the OBD2 alternator plug onto the OBD1 harness), injectors, and again, use the P28 ecu to power the engine. You can use your D16Z6 injectors if you want on the B18C-R, they have the same CC spec as R injectors (270cc).
I'd go with the first suggestion, to save money.

Why don't you just use your stock Z6 injectors? Same flow rate.
I used OBD1 CX injectors/FPR in my OBD2 C1 motor with P73 head and OBD0 B16 IM, no problems there.
Edit: I'm running the JDM harness..... Cut, extend wires, solder, wire loom, good to go.
