Default axle, cv-joint???

When i am turning very slow (under 40) or cut the wheel very hard(like to get into a parking spot) I hear a click and clunk coming from my car. It seems to be only the left side any comments?

A repeating click-clunk in time with your turning wheel (usually the outer wheel)? Or just a single noise?

get under the car and look at the cv boots if they are gone then i'd be safe to assume that its the cv joint

Pops just once right? ... could be tie rod ends, shocks/struts, worn suspension bushings, etc. Kind of hard to tell from here. See if you can duplicate the sound by bouncing the car in place with the wheels at full lock one way or the other.
