Non-intercooled Turbo D16y8 horsepower?
I have a 97 civic ex sedan that i want to make into a sleeper. I want to go turbo and I was wondering, about how much hp at the wheels will the greddy kit give me without a intercooler.

you know you can always put a little side mount intercooler in the area behind your bumper where the resonator box used to be. Just a suggestion, you could get teh best of both worlds.

I believe you could fit a T-Bird TC (87-88) or a stock DSM intercooler in that space. Those things are all over Ebay.

145-150 without an intercooler!! I wasn't expecting that much. That's straight. But I was wondering if any driveablity problems will occur if I don't have a intercooler Also does anyone know the max boost you could run without an intercooler. I've heard that 10psi is, but i don't believe it very much. i didn't know about the dsm i/c, how will i modify the kit's piping to use it or should i just custom make all the piping to fit the dsm i/c.

If I were you, I would listen to eople suggestions, put some type of charge temp cooler on there. If you get a factory DSM intercooler, you can probably use some of the Greddy piping. If not, then I would go to a muffler shop, and have then bend you up some exhaust piping to use for the time being. I thkn that would work just fine until you could afford to get some custom piping done. I don't think any shop would charge more than like mabey $100 or so to bend that pipe. just a suggestion, I hope this helps a little bit.
