yeahh
just like he said... you can get the same(or better) from a single turbo...
it's just for looks i guess

Re: Twin Turbo H22A Civic pics! (TURSpoonEK)
There is a vast difference between the US and Australian Honda scenes, which you can see right here. There are very few turbo Honda's here, and thats the only TT i know of. Hence it is totally individual.
Next, 340whp might be nothing for you guys, but here it is a great deal for a Honda. I mean we have 2 cars that have run 10 sec quarter miles in the whole country, just to give you some idea. This car running a 12.9 ranks as one of the quickest Hondas here, probably in the top 20 in the country (to get in the top 10 you have to run sub 12 basically)
Lastly, our taste in cars, especially show cars, has been vastly different to now and still is. Though slowly its changing towards performance orientation.
I happen to like that car, and i know it has impressed the hell out of a few people here that thought Hondas were slow (one guy i know has stopped Honda bashing after having this thing slaughter him )

Why all the ignorant statements? He is not trying to impress anybody, he is showing what they have done in his neck of the woods. Why are all the comparisons been done? Talk about putting people down for trying something different. Who cares if your not impressed the man isn't looking to break records here, and he has been more then respectful in his posts back to some of these uncalled for comments. I say good for you. I can't see the pics, is there a way to repost them so i can see? You guys are a real tuff crowd to please. Applaud his efforts and don't slam his results.

But the question is: Why did he do it? To impress people he has never met or to create something different and exciting? Ummm.... it was done to impress other people. Personally I ccan care less what other people think about my setup because it is mine!! But the ability to accept criticism will give me a chance to make my setup better. With that being said, any twin turbo inline 4 setup is stupid. I say the samething about the numerous twin turbo SR20DET's that I have encountered.
Oh yeah, I would love to see the pics so please get a different host.

Re: Twin Turbo H22A Civic pics! (Dee)
Dee- do you know that for a fact or are you just assuming he did it to showw off. Personally i think thats a unfair statement because you don't know the man, your guessing. Whats wrong with being diffferent? nobody is critiquing it just slamming his efforts. You don't think 350whp is fast? You should learn to refrase your statement. Any twin turbo inline 4 setup is stupid. Now your calling a complete stranger stupid for his choice?????? That makes no sense. Its not like it didn't make any power.

Geez people. You know what's unimpressive? FWD's on the drag strip. Why even bother with something so stupid?
That was an analogy btw.
Maybe the dude didn't want to be such a lemming. Of course, his big mistake was posting the car on the #2 (clubsi = #1) honda-lemming web board and believing that the effort would garner much respect...
