Default K24 Frankenstein?

Has anyone ever heard of or know how to make a K24 Frankenstein motor? I saw it in an issue of superstreet about the white Si/Type R conversion. I cant recall the issue, but had a silver S15 Silvia on cover.

Yeah..a couple people here have done it already. I think one of them was like B18CXr (something like that), he used a k24 from a CRV with a Type S head.

How viable was it to do the K24 block?

I would think the K20a2 head(RSX-s correct?) would be superior to the TSX head.

RSX-s must have more agressive cams for the 8000 rpm redline.

much cheaper and a change in TB is not needed due to the fact that the TSX is "drive-by-wire"

These are old dyno sheets of a stock CRV K24 in a 2003 Si. Now that the motor has 15K on it, it's puts down 170hp/149torque off the bottle. With the 65shot it make 226hp/267torque.......yes 267.

The car ran a 14.0 @ 101.9mph on the bottle.
