Tranny problems
Ok, here's the deal, i all ready use to have problems with my clutch slipping, and it gets worse every day, but I still havent got the one I ordered...now the thing is, I went on vacation for a week and let my mom drive my car since she had poped a tire and was sort of short on cash, now when i put in 3rd gear shifting from 2nd at 7200 rpm it sounds and feels horrible, as when you let te clutch go to early and the gears grind...any ideas what wrong, my clutch or should i kill my mom ???
Thanx

Re: Tranny problems (Blindstuff)
I had the same problem and it ended up being a broken clutch disc. I had shatered a small piece off and evey shift from 2-3 over 6000 rpm would grind no matter how long i held the clutch in before shifting. Change your clutch is my sugestion, but what do i know...

Re: Tranny problems (Blindstuff)
Try GM Sycromesh in the tranny for about 200 miles and see if it feels better. It's expensive, but it's great stuff.. also the clutch change might be a big help. remember to change the clutch fluid as well.
