would a code 0, be displayed with just a check engine? Like will it not blink out the code. We'll say on a obd1 gsr ecu. What do you think?

Code 0 I still have yet to figure out.....I think its where your CEL doesn't come on when you turn the ignition on(while the fuel pump is going) or its when the CEL remains on but that in my case was caused by a bad ROM set. Truthfully your guess is as good as mine. I need to add the v-tec supliement I have it just not much free time right now....

a code 0 is a bad ECU, therby being in limp mode, not allowing to rev past a certain rpm, 4k i think?

now i was told that a long blink means 10, is this true or does it blink 10 times?

long blink or 10 blinks both are the same just depends on the ECU. Most OBD0 flash 10 times ex. PR3 use the long flash I know unsure about PWO

Randy, those codes listed above have to images. A PDF will always open in a Adobe Acrobat which is a different program and not openable right through Internet Explorer.

You could open the PDF to the right page, take a screen shot of the page and save them as a picture. If you need some help with this, let me know.

Well I still dont know what code my ECU is trying to give me. I have a 1991 Civic EF STD. I get one blink, then a pause then another blink and a pause and then 16 quick blinks. Then it repeats itself all over again. So is this code 20 and 16? I know on my Integra you cannot get more the 9 quick blinks and that's why I'm being thrown off by the 16 quick blinks. Can someone hlep me out? Thanks in advance.

could be 20 and 16.... some ECU will count 10 as long blinks others will count them as 10 quick flashes...flashes being quicker then blinks in my crazy world. if your getting 16 and there quick flashes all together are the 2 blinks the LED staying on longer if so those are 10's.

its not a 0. a 0 the LED light will stay on constantly, not flash, blink and run like absolute crap. If its kinda long and it repeats itself it probably a 10. _____pause 5sec_____. Or is it _pause 5sec_ then its a 1. Or it could be _____ _____pause 5sec_____ _____ which would be a 20 or if its _____ _ _pause 5 sec _____ _ _ would be a 12 etc....and some ECU PM6's PG7 for examples usually dont do the long blinks, for 10, will flash _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _pause 5sec _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. Hope this helps

If its OBD1/2 theres a jumper harness, usually on the passengerside kick panel. Jump it and it will cause your ECU to flash. The same way the ECU LED does.
