I like the guy that said "I'd miss vtec." Give me a break man. Do you even know what vtec is? Do you know that almost all cars coming out have some sort of variable valve/cam system? Many of them are continuously variable which is 10x better than vtec? I'm a honda owner myself, and almost regret it because there are some real idiot honda owners out there.
Back to the question at hand. Hmmmm.....I think r34...only because of its power potential. I know there is more to a car than power, but its big, 4 or 5 seater, awd, trunk, etc. I think its a better all around package, but thats just me.

Depends on the use.... I would go with the NSX-R for the track any day or those sunday drives on pch/turnbull/carbon/ortega/mulholland.
The only problem that i see with the nsx-r is you wouldn't put a multi-media system in it....

hey , hybridCRX , dont insult me , yea i know there is alot of bad honda/ acura owners out there , but you dont know me and just because i said i'd miss vtec doesnt mean im some freakin stunna honda *** boy , also i know that other companys have there own forms of vtec , i just said i would personally miss it , i like the how im real quiet till i hit 4400 (stock vtec crossover) then 5700 hits and my secondarys open and its sounds great i get alot of power out of it too , dont be a dick . ... . , your making the people with honda/acuras in this form look bad , by trying to bash people for no good reason

I cant really say because I have never driven either one but I would think the NSX-R would outhandle the Skyline. If I did have the NSX-R I would definatly throw a GroupeM supercharger on that puppy. It may not be the fastest but it is damn sexy and it also has the sleeper factor. Could you imagine seeing the face of a man who's Ferrari just got beat by a Honda. (PRICELESS)

NSX will out handle the GTR in stock form. No need for the NSX-R. However on a different note, you can't touch the Ferrari with a Honda. They are in a league of its own. Just tell me one thing, when was the last time you heard the exhaust tone that sounds as good as a Ferrari from a Honda?? Even girls get wet dreams listening to that.

looks wise the honda always beats others =P i would have to go with the NSX.. but pure perofrmance.. an R34 would whoop a NSX's *** unless it is modfied a good amount. plus R34 = all wheel drive and also 4 doors.. much more versatile. so ..... If i was a family guy i would get 34 but if i am still looking for a girl i would ride the pimp *** NSX.

i personally have an R32 GTR , but i have to choose between a skyline and an nsx-r , id choose nsx-r
because where i live we have so many skylines and nsx is a very very rare sight

I think if I were to get either I would choose the R-34 GT-R. However, If I were a rich guy, I would get a Lingenfelter Twin Turbo Vette, because honestly, there is nothing better than a car that looks like a Stock 13 second car, even from the engine bay, that can run 8's on a cold day.
