My thoughts exactly - I haven't dragged my gixxer 1000 but I'm sure I could make a mid-10 sec pass, even though it is stated to run a 9.79 quarter mile.

I guess that dog can brag that he can go 0-125 in 7.2 seconds as well....

That's what I was thinking when I saw the article. The article featured a gixxer 1000 vs the Z06 Vette and I believe the article claimed a 9.79 quarter mile run for the gixxer.
