correct me if im wrong, but the 10 psi rule only works with a 5w20 oil, I THINK.
I KNOW
when im gunning 4 grand to 3,500 on the interstate in my car its right on 60 but that IS with 10w30 oil
i think the different weights of the oil changes the PSI it runs at.
not 100% sure just read it somewhere.

no they dont spin with the crank... the bearings will also stay seated with the in the cap/block or the cap/rod... when u spin a bearing what it essentially does it get thinner... now u have a gap so everytime the crank rotates u now hear a "knocking noise" which is lets say if u spin a rod bearing... its the rod actually bouncing up and down on the crank as it spins

you are correct, but the term "spun bearing" is used so loosley... Someone refering to a "spun bearing" could have excessive bearing wear and what probably should be refered to as a "rod knock", but I don't ASSume anything.
Wes V had the best and most proper answer.
On a ligher note, this thread is funny!

Re: What does "spin a bearing" mean?
I figured this thread was worthless without pics of said spun bearings.
Here is a couple from a 3SGTE engine before I built it. This one in particular did spin in the connecting rod. The piece at the bottom is half a bearing. These are the only pieces I have. I just threw the rest away this weekend but it was carnage. Every single bearing was either smashed or broken. the crank on #4 was also worn away to .03"
Here are few engine building tips to help prevent a spun bearing.

Here are few engine building tips to help prevent a spun bearing.
- Cleanliness. Build the engine in as clean an area as possible. There is a reason factory/high end engines are built in clean rooms.
- Build the engine slightly loose and pay attention to torque specs.
- Dont damage the crank when installing the pistons/rods.
- Always replace the water and oil pump.
