DIY 150,000 Maintenance...
Alright guys...my car is nearing 150,000 miles...does anyone know exactly whats involved and how much of it I can do myself? I haven't gone to the dealership yet to see what all needs to be done, and I don't have my manual with me here at school, so I was just wondering if any of you have had experience with it before, and know what all is involved, because i'm not ready to fork over $400 bucks to the local Honda dealership for them to fix my beat D15B7...
And for those who like bashing n00bs...bash away

I'd reccomend you buy a Haynes manual or something like it, it has detailed lists of the maintainance shedule and shows you how to do it all step by step...
A **** load of things, look it up in your manual and decide what all you are gonna do. If it's lost, i'll scan up the Haynes list for you.
im not trying to steal your thread but...
anybody know whats involved in a 60K tuneup for a d16y7?

All the fluids(oil trans brake clutchmaster....), adjust the valves, valve cover gasket, adjust rear brakes, front pads, all belts (I think belts might be 100k), wires, plugs, air filter. There might be more maybe less I'm not sure. Thats should get your car running great.

for your d15b7 i suggest you:
change oil
change coolant
change tranny fluid
change plugs, maybe new plug wires
change cap/rotor
change plug wires
change fuel filter
valve adjustment
timing belt/water pump
hope this helps youll be looking to spend around 150 if you do the work urself its worth it to me for the longevity
