It uses some parts from eBay, but the kit was pieced together and fabricated to fit. So I guess you could call it a pieced together setup. I'm not sure about which catch can they're using.

I have some thoughts on it though. 1st thing is the chassis, the aero on a CRX is pretty bad and any crx I have seen always seems to have a much better short track than back half. 2nd is it was about 78 degrees out that day and this run took place in the hottest part of the day, DA was +1400 feet at the time of this run so this could have killed a couple MPH off. 3rd is the fact that the 22 inch slicks put this car almost on the limiter at the end of the 1/4 mile so we might be on the decline of the power band instead of in the middle of it. But all of this Said 125 Mph is generally good for mid-High 10s in an efficient light weight setup.
The crx is one of the more aerodynamic Hondas that people drag race. 88-91 HF has a 0.29 cd with a 5.39 cdA. EG hatch is 0.31 cd with a 6.16 cdA. My poor EK hatch is 0.36 with a 7.62 cdA. So unless you have an insight or late civic hybrid, the crx is hard to beat aerodynamically. My bone stock 80k mile 89 si (if you can believe that. This is back in '98)went 130mph and probably only made 90whp.

I found another source that suggests that the EK hatch is 0.32. That makes me feel better

EF's are good drag car chassis if you spend serious cash upgrading the front drive-train/suspension, replace all wiring, and converting to hydro trans/clutch (with hydro pedal).

Not worth it....

You replace all wiring when doing a swap for the most part, you need to upgrade the drive-train and suspension on any drag car, and there is no need to go hydro trans/clutch (with hydro pedal). My cable tranny w/ Spec stage 3+ doesn't feel bad at all and will hold 500whp.

Using your logic drag cars period are not worth it.

We are gonna have to disagree. Older honda/acura chassis can be made reliable drag/race cars but we disagree on how to get them to that point.
