Default 2004 CRV

Hello,

Go an issue I cant figure out so Im posting here...

Alarm keeps going off randomly

No problems starting, battery is pretty new. Green immobilizer appears to behave normally.

Sometimes the fob won't shut off the alarm.
Sometimes it beeps 3 or 4 times when attempting to shut it off.

There's a blue light with a button on it installed under steering column, no instructions on this button in the OM.

Any clues what I'm needing?

Thanks

Guess I can't post attachments, here's a link to the blue light.

The light blinks Blue when Alarm is ON, and is not lit when the alarm is off. (The light is off in the image because my camera wouldn't focus with it lit.)
A button (switch) in the center appears to do nothing at all

Is that an aftermarket alarm? You probably need to change the battery in the remote.
