I have a 2009 CRV with about 45000 miles. Just recently the drivers side window began making a "thud" sound when the window makes it completely down. Other than that it appears to be operating correctly. I can stop it before hitting bottom and no "thud" and it seems to go up and down just as quickly as the others.

I took the door panel off to inspect. It does appear to be going further down, compared to the passenger side window. I can still see about 1/4" of glass with the window completely down on the passenger side, while on the drivers side is going below the moulding by about 1/8-1/4".

I tried the windows reset procedure but it didn't change anything

Everything seems nice and snug. The part diagram shows a rubber cushion, but I felt around underneath the part that guides the window down, and on top of where it comes to rest expecting to find a rubber stop on either and found nothing.

Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Did you feel or look across the whole bottom of the door for the rubber stop? That would be my first thought... Most people slam their doors MUCH too hard and it could have bounced into a corner.

Yes, that was my thought too...but getting a hand all the way across the bottom is difficult. The part I could reach, didn't find anything.
They are pretty cheap, so I was just going to get another. Just not 100% sure where it or they belong. The parts diagram isn't very clear.
