Did you plug your secondary O2 sensor back in? Did you possibly damage the wires in the process?

Was this code present before the catalytic converter installation?

When I got this P0141 code it ended up being the heater element inside the downstream sensor was going bad and was giving false readings. I replaced the downstream o2 sensor with a bosch OEM replacement, fixed the problem!, but now that I had a new/working downstream o2 sensor, it detected that my catalytic converter is bad with a PO420. :/ seems you can never win.

If you didn't handle the sensor with care and accidently dropped in some way that damaged the sensor you're gonna have to replace it. Follow through procedure to check the sensor and if it still comes up as the sensor is bad than you'll have to replace it.

Are you able to check the real time readings of your O2 sensors?

I had the same problem and saw that my downstream O2 sensors readings were way off. Replaced the O2 sensor, reset the code, and all was good again!

I'm not following. YOu replaced the cat but you're saying that you think because the code that is being thrown, the cat is bad? You do know a ton of other things will cause bad O2 sensor readings?
