what year is the car. there is obd2a and obd2b. you can buy the correct jumper harness and run an obd1 ecu. Being as your car is auto I really don't see why you would want to invest the time and money.

The tcu is separate, at least on the 94-97 accords. I'm not sure I understand the statement that automatics aren't worth the money

As far as I know the TCU on 96+ OBDII Accords is integrated into the ECU.

Not sure that I see much use for tuning an autotragic Accord. What are your plans for tuning?

Autotragics are for chicks!

You could be right ghost, as I have a bit more experience with 94/95 than 96/97. As for the automatic situation I would prefer a manual trans but you can work with what you've got. I'm kind of stuck with auto until I can find a g1 legend to pull a trans from...damn honda not making my car with a 5spd option :/

It's all good. I'm in debate as to whether I should spend the time and money on the 5spd swap...I hate to admit it but I've been pondering finding the gear ratios for the legend autos to see if it'd be beneficial if I can't find a manual.

I have parts if your looking to go 5 speed.

And for a 96 you just need the correct harness and ecu. Plug and play.

Ok ghost .thats answers my question .i was looking for the two boxes under the protection plate .lol .with that being aside I need an obd2 to obd1 auto step down harness then .
As far as converting it I believe the harness on the drivers is in the way correct.converting it would solve so many on my issues at the moment .i have so much 5 spd stuff .
