just download " waze " on you app fone.. it updates current situations on common routes,
its a community based gps.. gives you heads up on traffic, cops, accidents, closure, reroutes,
hazards on the road!

Thanks for the info. I know of waze. Does it work with the crv navigation? I know I could use my phone but prefer using the crv navigation.

i doubt they have that live feed support system, may be later on if they would develop updates
on the system itself, when you bring it to a dealership for its regular maintenance...
different scenario: after i got my 2013 pilot serviced, the steering controls started working on my BB z10
apollo(pandora) app..

Re: Live traffic for 2007 crv navigation
this is why I'll never buy a car with factory Nav.
It shows their age way too fast. When I worked at honda in 2005 the navigation units from just a 2002-2003 model were just so old and wonky.
I would imagine that the nav from just two years ago in any vehicle looks dated and really takes from the car since it kinda becomes a unusable dinosaur screen.
from my days at honda the 2007 crv navigations only interface was the DVD you had to buy for it from the dealership. you can go and buy a newer updated DVD for your region but I highly doubt you'll be able to get any traffic info with it.
