Default LSV head gasket

Sooo im having a problem here with my LSV. I have a b18b1 block with a GSR head. I have ARP headstuds and I bought the GE LSV kit with the 81mm headgasket and such. MY issue no is that I am getting an oil leak from the head where it meets the block, just about right above the thermostat housing. I dont seem to notice and performance issues or lack of compression, it still pulls hard and makes boost. In attempts to fix this I pulled the head off and bought a new GE gasket and torqued it down and I have the same issue! I also checked the head for warpage with a Snap-On straight edge.

post pics its probably coming from the allen bolt located right above the thermostat housing on the head or from the back of the valve cover.

When you tapped the head and blocked the hole with the plug, did you make it flush or put the plug past flush? That plug isn't suppose to be flush.

I dont believe it is flush, its thread down farther in the head and the valve covers dry! This leak is bad it will leave a puddle if I let it sit and idle

The last three pics are where the leak is from. If the cars running you can see oil run down, and if you look closely in the pics you can see the wetness. I tried my best to get.

Looks like it's leaking from where you tapped it. Did you use the white tape around the fitting?
