Default 96 Poor mans

Hey guys I bought a b16 a month ago and slowly getting everything.. I have pistons ( are 20 over) and about ready buy valves. Question 1. What valves should I buy I'm not going to boost the car anytime soon.. But I will eventually.. And how do you know when you. Need valve stems..

I'm fairly new. This is my first build..

I currently have a 96 True GSR..

stock valves, not worth spending $3-400 for :2 bump or drop in compression. ditch 1.6l even if you may boost it one day opt for at least 2.0L

Gsr is the better motor to work with, can handle more power than the others, better girdle, oil squirters in the block to lubricate the pistons/cylinder walls. Gsr transmissions are the best to turbo, the gears are perfect so your moving and not using too much gas as if you were to use a b16 transmission.

gauging by psi is useless, stock internals can hold you till 300 give or take.
