Default 1997 Type SH Starting Problem

I have having a problem getting my car to start. It has a newer battery (1 year old), and spark plugs replaced 2 years ago. It will crank but it will not turn over, below is a video of what it is doing. I have tried 10+ times with the same results.

Any suggestions or things to try?

A little more information:

I took out the wire plug and put the spark plug into the wire then turned off all the lights and had someone watch it spark as I cranked the car (turned the key). I know you only have to do this with one of the wires but I did it with several just to make sure and all of them were sparking. It was sparking the entire time I cranked, so I know that is not the issue. The fuel pump also turns on when I turn the key, so I know it is not the fuel pump.

It's a good idea, if you know you have spark, to test the fuel system. It's good that you hear the fuel pump turn on, but it might be worth testing the fuel pressure and verifying the resistance of the injectors. You should be able to find a walkthrough on resistance testing your injectors relatively easily via Google.

I found a walkthrough on this here but mine was for a 1993:

Also you said it will crank but will not turn over. I assume you mean it is turning over but will not start ? This could also be a loss of compression and if it's not fuel, you may want to test the cylinder compression.

Has anything changed since the last time it started? Is the immobilizer light flashing at you (the green key light on the dash)? After letting it crank for a few seconds, pull a spark plug and check to see if it's wet with fuel.

The other part is have you removed the fuel line from the fuel rail when turning the car to ignition II (before cranking to start) if the fuel pump primes you should have a bit of gas come out there... if not, fuel filter is clogged.
