oil light & Brake issues
1990 accord - F22A4
3 weeks back I hate the brakes a little to hard, in doing so I broke the line above the gas tank going to the rear Pass tire. Nightmare for a simple line fix. I spliced it in rather then replace the line as others at rusty and really didn't have the time to break others. After getting it back together no matter what I did I couldn't get a good pedal. In the mean time I drove to work a few times which is only a few stops away. I noticed everytime I tried to bleed the air out the oil light would flash.
brake pedal seems good when sitting unless I really stand on it, then it will slowly(3-5 seconds) falls to the floor.
I let it sit over the weekend as I had other things to deal with. Yesterday I changed the oil and started it. Was going to pull the vacuum line off the booster to start ruling out stuff before throwing money at it. It out of nowhere for no reason now has a brake pedal that feels normal again. What could or would cause that.? Really don't need to crash cause out of nowhere the brakes decide not to work again. Also still when I hit the brakes hard the oil light comes one. Sometimes it will flash other times it will stay on. What do you think may be causing this.? -brake light did come on when blessing it and also when I pull the E-brake.-
once again I appreciate any and all help.!!!

Re: oil light & Brake issues
for ROKCYCAT.....................thank you for your answer.
There was a misunderstanding in my letter, and my question, sorry about it.
a,... nothing wrong with the brake, I hope. The car had a cylinderhead job on it, and
....... the battery was DISCONNECTED OVER THREE MOUNTHS
b,....when the engine (was) starts the "BRAKE" light went on, and stayed on.
Question /originaly/related to that, why and how get it out.
Was no OIL PROBLEM mentioned what so ever.

Re: oil light & Brake issues
You are very welcome but why don't you open a new thread with ONLY your problem? You should NEVER post your email address in open forum. Check the master cylinder cap.
