93 Civic Build
I picked up this car a while back as a project. I wanted to build a sfwd car but steered my build to more of a street/strip. It's a 1993 Civic cx. Has been converted to rear disc and I believe has integra front brakes. It has coil overs on it, I believe they are HP Racing. The block has benson's logo on it but im not sure of the internals. Has a turbo kit that I'm not to sure of the specs on. But the po said it might be a full race kit? The car has some nice but dated modifications. As far as the interior most of it was gone and what is there is broken. Any way on to the pictures.

Please be aware your next set of pics and posts will need to be the in process pics of tear down and then assembly with verbal details of what you are doing to be considered as a build thread.
Currently at this point the thread is more of just an appearance type thread.
Will leave it here so you can add to it for now, just wanted to give you the heads up if it does end up being moved into the cosmetics/appearance forum as to why it may have been sent there and how to prevent that.
You can inquire on opinions of the direction you are taking etc to gain clarity, just be sure to follow through.
Thanks

Yeah thats why I question what this build was about, and not just show off the car. Its a nice find though. With purchases of any turbo built you will definitely find anonymous issues.

That's my bad on not being more specific. Just showing how the car looked when I purchased it.

When you want to do an actual build thread, feel free to create one in this forum where it would belong.
Thanks.

Re: 93 Civic Build
Anyway on to my build thread.
The car needed a few things before it could be started or driven. The po said that it would overheat if the car was sitting. So I removed the radiator and hoses. And also began to remove and replace vacuum lines.
At that time I also decided to buy some parts. At this point I was determined to build a drag car.
I then removed my old parts to make room for the new. Then see what it would look like.

Miss communication, your one post made it sound like you were just showing the car, not proceeding with a build thread. I will ask a global mod to move it back now that it is all clarified.

Re: 93 Civic Build
The next thing on my list was to remove the dashboard, stereo, what looked to be an alarm system and the heater core and other components.
I then decided to pickup some SEM paint and changed the color of the dash to black. I also picked up a 8 point roll cage and parachute from S&W.

Re: 93 Civic Build
After I got the engine and transmission out I had the glass removed. And removed all the brake/fuel lines and fuel tank. I apologize for the poor quality pictures.
