SRS reset problem / Car won't start
Hello all,
In my 2001 honda accord, the SRS warning light had turned on and the code indicated that the driver's side seat-belt buckle was malfunctioning, and so i reset the srs light to make sure it wasn't just a false reading. When I later went to start the car, it wouldn't start. My immediate thought was that by leaving my cab light on while I was working on my car, I had let my battery die (It's an old battery so it doesn't hold a charge for vary long). So I took a charger and charged up the battery until the battery charger indicating it was fully charged. However, that didn't work and the car still won't start. I'm going to go ahead and buy a new battery tomorrow and install it, but I wanted to know if resetting the SRS light might have had something to do with it, or have caused another issue that would have caused the car to fail to start?
Thanks!
