M2S4 trans help
okay so I recently started doing an auto to manual trans swap that I haven't finished. So I just got stumped, I pulled a M2S4 manual trans from a 93 lude and meshed it to my 00' BB6 Lude w/H22A4. I noticed that it had an in & out lines from the back of the transmission going to the rack & pinion. My BB6 rack is totally different, so my questions:
Do I have to swap the racks? or Can I just plug the lines?
I tried searching it, I didn't get any clear answers. So any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, not knowing preludes real well I looked at the service manual. The manual shows the hoses going to the speed sensor. Which led to the question- Does the rack need the sensor or does the sensor need the rack?
The system description says: The 4-way valve controls which direction the rack goes, the gain control valve controls the amount of assist by regulating the stroke of the 4-way valve and the gain control valve is affected by pressure, which is controlled by the pressure control valve, sensor orifice and speed sensor.
The answer- the rack needs the sensor but, the sensor doesn't need the rack. So yes, you can plug the holes/hoses.
