Looks like you have enough on the car to learn with already.... maybe even too much.
Take what you have now and get lots of seat time.

Just run the b18b until she blows and then swap the R in. The LS motor has more than enough power to learn on and to get you in trouble.

update*

so its been a while since i last work which gave me time to do alot of stuff. removed the engine and painted the bay (truck bed liner) removed every shitty rusted bolt in the engine bay with new shiney ones. interior is the same. also put the battery in the back. and relocated the fuse box. added rear jumper terminals just in case i need to jump it without hassle. did not like how the rear (diffusers came out so just started cutting without thinkin and i made it worse lol oh well race car status. beside that wait on my motor to get back. painted the block and trans. THIS **** IS EXPENSIVE! when you build a motor "the right way" lol i guess its worth it. ill see when i get it back. i ill take pics of the bay wen i remember at some point but check it out.

When the car is ready to hit the track you should come out to MSR and play. It's a much less bumpy track than eagle's canyon. Apexdrivingacademy.com or thedriversedge.net

Car looks great!

Cool and all. But have you been on track? No point doing all these mods if you have no clue how to drive the car on track. Just saying.

True, but he'll learn. and, as he improves he'll already have the equipment to make adjustments if needed. This keeps his mind on task and at the same time start understanding how the track works. He won't be the fastest out of the gate, and I'm sure he knows that... but to me, building while racing is part of the fun..

jesusm92, Keep it going.
