Default Short in wiring harness????

So the other day my car (97 Hatch w/b16a2) started missing and died. the car would not start afterwards until 2 hours later and started perfectly fine. before the car died however the speedo and tach stopped working. after being towed home I dove in to it switched ecus (P2T to obd2 P30) to see if that caused the problem. It did not. at this point the car barely turned like as if it had a low battery so I jumped it. I tested the alternator to see if it was charging and its working fine no battery light and normal voltage. then finally found a scanner the codes I got were P0135 (02 heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1), P0141 (02 heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2), P0325 (knock sensor), P1259 (vtec system malfunction) and P1298 (electric load detector high out put). now after researching the P1298 code I replaced the #15 fuse checked the wires behind the intake manifold those were fine. I did notice that my primary o2 is plugged in to a connector but not wired to anything and I cannot find those wires anywhere and ive had 3 shops try and find but they came up empty... so the question is this would those primary o2 wires be shorting themselves out and throwing these codes??? or what else can I try? ive replaced the #15 fuse twice and the ELD... does the whole harness need to be replaced?

Lift your car up, like really LIFT it up, high high off the ground, then place it on jackstands.

Now you need to crawl underneath the car and remove the oil filter.

When that stops dripping, there's a bracket that holds your intake manifold to your engine block, go ahead and remove that bracket.

Look at the wiring harness that was attached to the bracket and see if there's broken/melted/frayed wiring. If there is, then go ahead and fix those. The wires that are attached to that bracket go to your O2 sensor, Electronic Load Detector (ELD), VTEC solenoid, and knock sensor; this is the one of the only places on the engine where all the wires are touching each other and bolted down to a piece of metal. I haven't seen this issue on the B16s before, but it happens all the time on the D16Y8 engine.

Once that's solved, put everything back together and start the car. Did the problem go away?
