Default Turbo vs SuperCharger

Eyyy whassup y'all. I have a dc5 and im debating on what to do to it this season. stock motor and all, just took her out from being parked for the winter. and wanna get some more HP. what do you guys suggest???

Figure out a budget. Figure out a goal, whether it's hp, 1/4 mile time, whatever, and work towards it.

Random people throwing out random suggestions when nobody has any idea of your capabilities with a wrench does no one any good, you especially.

Thanks brotha. well im saving up money to have it ready for june/august. it helps i work at a honda dealership. but i really want it for HP, but its my daily so i'm stuck on which way to go; Boost or SP.

if you want peak hp, then turbo.
if you want broad torque and nice powerband but not as much peak power, then supercharger.

Since its your DD go with the SC. It'll be just as reliable as it is now but with more power.

Turbo for track and SC for autocross, if you're into competitive racing. I'd personally go with a turbo, that's my .02. Let us know what you decide!

convert the car into rwd and mount an s2000 drivetrain into it.....all it takes in money.

Best bet is to take "doood's" advice. check out different options and what best interest you then check your financials and go from there.

Sorry not trying to jack the thread....
anyone have experience with a jackson racing supercharger kit on thier type s?
Is it possible to put it on a bone stock car, not even upgrading the exhaust?
I want more power but need my car to be quiet so i dont get pulled over unnecessarily...
