Icon2 2008 Honda Pilot problems

Need some help with a 2008 Honda Pilot problem - 3 mths ago driving on highway our Pilot check engine light comes on with our VTEC or VCM light also and it went into "limp" mode. Made it to Honda dealership and they said code was P2647 so they replaced oil pressure switch. We picked it up drove 20 miles down the rode & same thing happened again - we drove to another Honda dealership closer to our hometown- they replaced Solonoid - for 3 mths no problem until this weekend - check engine light & VCM came on - we had it towed back to dealership. Just talked to them & computer reset everything & they said they can't get any code. So it is just sitting at dealership. I can't believe someone can't figure out what is causing all these Hondas to do this over & over again! Can someone PLEASE tell us how to fix this? I have been reading online this is a very wide spread problem with Hondas -not just Honda Pilots!! The dealership is 1 1/2 hrs from our home - we need to find out how to fix this. Help please...BTW it has 98,000 miles on it now (bought it new). Never had any other problems, always get oil changed on time, replaced timing belt 3 yrs ago and new battery last year.
