My Build - 98 Civic Coupe EX w/ B18A1 swap.
when i 1st got my coupe and started to build it from stratch and my dad wanted me to buy a complete car but i wanted to show him i could do it and build my own
parts in my room just keep stackin till i had it all i didnt know everything i know now but i kept at it
motor before it was rebuilt in my garage and all my parts i was going to use
all the parts i had and more coming i didnt use the red camber kit and black lower contro, arms cause they were for a ef and i didnt know that they didnt fit
painted my wheels and valve cover to be different and lot of my friends like it some dont but im not here to inpress no one
painted my motor bay in my garage took bout a hour to do all i can say that it was hot as hell in there
at school sitten waiten to go in but that was before i had to rebuild it and switch to a new block
car at my house and i found out i had t switch my block cause of two broken bolts in my water pump
went and bought my own engine stand cause i was tired of waiten for people so i went and got my own before school
my new block bought it for 50 bucks b18a1 my motor before i took it apart in the back waiten

i got integra type r pistons on ls rods for 100 bucks ordered new piston rings that morning

tried doen timing and heard a clunk took head off and that was in there

put the head back on and did the timing again and heard the same thing teacher told me to take off the intake manifold and those bolts were in there
sent my p75 ecu to jason waters tuning in gerogia with my xenocron sst chip based maped cel shift light and i didnt even know it
was ready to drop it in my car that day
yea that didnt work out how we planned it to
finally on mounts and in my car
was coming along if you ask me put hoses and other random things on startin to look like a car
just at school afte a day of some work on it
1st night i got it running finally
had to swap out o rings cause they ripped and i couldnt find the right ones anywhere but a junkyard
had to redo my head gasket again cause of those nuts and bolts bein put in my motor so i got new plugs thermostat again
before i sent my head to the machine shop to get checked
got my head back new valve seals and valve guides replaced resurfaced 100 bucks took a day
put all new hardware on the intake manifold
was on the tow truck goen back to school lookin like a blueberry

Look people, regardless of what the history is, personalized negative comments about the individual will not be permitted.
The pics are good for others to see what can be done as ideas, whether it's the recommended method for your tastes or not.
Until the individual posts something illegal or something against the rules, this "build" can be seen by all.
Simply, IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING NICE TO SAY THEN DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.
If you persist, instead of just deleting the irrelevant posts, I will just start handing out 30 day bans no questions asked. You have been warned.

yea it started up and ran today im waiten on a aem fuel pressure regulator cause i get 15 psi then it drops and i need a tune other than that its running fine i got a video to just didnt care to upload it here
i did the splatter because im different. everyone that sees it says somethin scarcastic it but overall they like it
tie bar dont fit with my subframe idk why i tried to put it on twice already

timing was off before i did valve adjustment so i have to do it again i just havent cause i been waiten for my aem fuel pressure regulator that should be here today

This thread is closed for management purposes. When OP has more build information to post, OP can message me and we will open it just for tech posts and then reclose to keep the prejudice off the thread.
At some point the year and make of the car will be added and the motor information. Or the thread will stay as is and at the bare minimum, others will have pics for ideas for their own cars.

sine i dont have a ect sensor i got this harness of my friends crashed hatch for free i was gonna swap that one on sometime soon
my oil light keep s coming on so i figured id install a guage for it instead and take the bulb out
got oil pressure if you ask me
decided to install my hids finally 8k and i got 10 k ones that are green

havent been to the track yet,nor got a tune yet dont know who im going to cause everyone i talk to all they say i need is a chipped ecu which i already have but if ima drop a couple bills on them to tune my car i want them to be more communtative than that
car info is up above-non vtec bseries
just some more work i did on friday not got a few more bushings to install sway bar links camber kit ones and shift linkage which i cant use anyway cause i got a gsr shift linkage

what info do you want to know? its a 98 civic coupe wit a rebuilt ls motor semi built
B18a1 block b18b1 head jdm gsr tranny xtr 6 puck stage 2 clutch arp flywheel bolts arp head studs arp rod bolts new piston ring and gasket kit all new gaskets integra type r pistons on ls rods blox intake manifold god speed type r throttlebody god speed fuel rail aftermarket fuel pressure regulator blox high compression valves blox dual valve springs blox ti retainers supertech valve lock keepers brain crower stage 2 cams adjustable cam gears msd setup xenocron sst tuning chip its all there in my info so what are you talkin bout
