Fuel bypass and injector pulse questions
Im turning a 96 ek hatch into a race car with a b18b1 and am looking to put the main things on switches and eliminate all the unnecessary wires. Now I'm wondering if i can bypass the main relay and run the fuel pump on a toggle switch and if I can how do the injectors get the signal for the pulse? Is there something I would have to wire in? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks

Re: Fuel bypass and injector pulse questions
The PGM-FI Main Relay has both the fuel injector power relay and the fuel pump relay in it.
The fuel injector relay powers the fuel injectors and the ECU/ECM, [IGP1 and IGP2] and possibly other sensors, [heated O2] and some valve/solenoids on the engine, depending on your swap.
I see no gain in putting any of that on switches, unless you plan on stripping the car of anything that is not needed and replacing the ign. switch with a bunch of other switches is kind of counter productive.
What kind of "racing" are you going to be doing? 94
