'91 Honda Civic HB sunroof parts
Hey all. I have a 1991 Honda Civic Hatchback. The seal around my sunroof was cracked and leaking. I would love to pull out the old seal and put in a new one, but I am having a hard time locating the part (several sites and parts stores I have looked at don't carry it and tell me it was discontinued). The part is the "seal, sunroof frame", number 7 in this diagram. It is the gasket part that the window rests on. Any thoughts of how to get my hands on one or how to rig something up?

check junk yards. those seals hold up in junkyard cars really well and dont see much weather. even if the whole assembly is blown that seal usually still looks good. are you sure this is where its coming from? if the four gutters are draining smooth that seal should really not be even touched by water. that particular part is on the lip of the pan which is pressed on to the inside of the roof panel. the water would have to be deep for that to be the leak. there are a few more options that could be making it leak. the drains should be viewed in action. to really get a good idea the origin of the leak the headliner needs to come out for a little while. then the whole sunroof assembly has a clear view. did you already take it apart?

When I bought my 89 Civic Si the sunroof glass was cracked. I found another entire assembly from a parts car and made 1 good sunroof out of 2 ok ones. If you need random sunroof parts, I still have some leftover pieces.
