I over tightened the back cap and collet body, stripped out the threads and now Im torchless.

Im using a rigid 17 style (w/one piece hose/lead), and honestly havent used it enough to know if I like it. That said, since Im buying a new one, should I look into another model, like a 9? And should I spring for a stubby gas lense kit, would it be beneficial for a beginner in anyway to go with a smaller torch and gas lense setup?

Where do you buy your torches, or torch kits?
