My mom recently bought a 2011 Fit and is having problems with the keyless entry. She received two keys, and the problem is the same for both of them. They can lock the doors just fine, but when the unlock button is pressed all that happens is the hazard lights blink twice. Any suggestions?

Do they sound sick when they lock/unlock? My 2011 Crz doesn't unlock sometimes and sounds awful when it does. I have to work the lock back and forth for a little bit then they work for a while longer. I'm guessing that the regulators just need to be greased, but I haven't opened it up to look at it yet.

Efficiency

I had a problem with the keyless entry on my '07 unlocking but not locking the doors after it had been sitting unused for several months, the alarm would engage but for some reason the locks wouldn't. I found that opening and slamming all the doors (including the hatch) several times fixed it.
