Want to prevent a repeat dead battery when leaving for a week.
Hi
I had my TL with a dead battery after leaving it for a week a while back.
Is there a way to set the battery drain off like off security, off radio and stuff like that w/o physically pulling the battery terminals off? or anything I can do to help prevent battery drain if I leave it for a week or so?
Just looking for a way to prevent a dead battery again if I leave it for a week and such.
thanks.

One of the easiest ways to do this would be to disconnect the battery cables from their terminals.

Yeah, your HFL is on the fritz. Its a known issue. Feel the overhead console with the car off, and check for warmth. There is a problem with the HFL staying on when you turn the car off and killing the battery.
