What oil seals to replace with timing belt on 02?
I'm going to have my indy change out the timing belt, water pump and valve cover gasket and was wondering what seals to also change since everything will be accessible during this time. All my seals are 11+ yrs old and I know the timing seal is leaking a bit. After perusing Rock Auto, it seems the major seals are camshaft, balance shaft, timing and crankshaft. I know the front crankshaft seal should be easy to get to when changing the belts but what about the rear near the tranny? The Aisin kit I'm planning on getting has the tensioner + idler bearings w/springs which is nice.

crank and oil pump seal are the same ....you will need one crank seal, balance shaft seal, and cam seal. Be very sure to put some grease on the inner lip of the seals before installing it.
The rear main seal will obviously require pulling the tranny to remove.
