Default 1992 Honda Accord 2Dr EX ICU Bad?

If anyone can help us I would appreciate it. Rear Window defroster stopped working, Dome light stopped working, Headlights on and key left in ignition "chimes" stopped working, Intermediate speed on windshield wipers stopped working. By researching on this site I thought it was the ICU on under dash driver side fuse box. Went to junk yard. Found an Accord and removed the ICU. Came home took the ICU off our Accord. Hooked up the ICU from wrecked Accord. Everything still not working. Same part number on both ICU's.....Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should do next? Thank you for your help.....

Check all connectors going into the fuse box for any damage

I would not trust a junk yard fuse box

Easy to test with a multi meter. If you don't have one, get a 5 dollar one from Harbor Freight.

One at a time, pull each fuse and check for 12V on one side of the fuse socket by putting the black probe on a good ground point and the red probe on the fuse socket. Keep in mind that some of the sockets may be keyed hot so you might have to turn the key to II to show any power there. Once you've confirmed 12V at the socket, flip your meter to continuity and check the fuse by putting the black probe on one leg of the fuse and the red on the other. I once had a Volvo 240 that had an intermittent no start issue. It turned out to be a loose blade connector to the fuel pump fuse on the back of the fuse box. I found it with a multimeter.

Thank you for the suggestion. I pulled all the fuses one at a time and none were "blown". I will try this suggestion tomorrow. I have gone to 2 electric repair shops. Both want $95-110 an hour to find cause. A fair amount, however I cannot afford it.

I still think you should pull the fuse box out and inspected for any damage to all the connectors
You might have water damage in the fuse box

Thank all of you for replying. I looked at all the fuses both in the interior and engine compartment fuse boxes and they all looked good. I then "tested" the fuses with a meter and a 15amp fuse in the engine compartment fuse box labeled......interior light.did not test good. I replaced it with a spare 15amp fuse from the car a presto everything is working. It has been over a week now so I will keep my fingers crossed. Take Care..........

One more thing... there was a coupon in the newspaper for a free meter from Harbor Freight (no purchase needed). So saved enough $ to by some new fuses!!!!
