measure radius rod accord 96 picture
friends, I need the measures from the radius rod accord 96 coupe driver side...
I measure mine and is:
55.7 cm without thread
and 66.6 cm complete long.
can someone confirm is the measure is ok? or if my radius rod is bent?

Re: measure radius rod accord 96 picture
hey mad mike...
yeah I replace the upper control arm and the knuckle...
when I hit the pothole the upper control arm hit the top and the ball joint pop out and the knuckle bent in the top when the ball joint nut...
you know because you are following my post...
but I still having problem with the car when I push the brake the car pulls left...
seriusly I don`t know the problem... I`m going crazy...
I measure from the front wheel to the rear wheel each side and the passanger side was like .5 mm shorter than the driver side...
then I took the shim (each side have one shim I think from the factory) of the radius rod of the passanger side to reduce the difference...
but still having the same problem...
recommend me anything to check... thank you

Did you ever get a four wheel alignment after fixing all the parts?
Do you have the printout of the alignment?
Have you bled the brakes recently? The system is diagonally split, front driver/rear passenger is one circuit, front passenger/rear driver is another, if there was damage done to a brake line or hose from the impact maybe the balance of the brake system is off.

I change both front brake hose because one of them was humidity from inside and if you brake hard and turn the steering wheel to both sides start to leak... well I bought both hoses and changed them...
today I bleed again the four corner... starting in the RR, then FL, then RL and FR. just like the manual says...
I only took the car to alignment but only the front...
you recommend me to do a four wheel alignment?

Yes.
The inside of the front tires on the '95 Coupe wore very quickly for no apparent reason a few months ago. Brought it in for an alignment and one of the rear wheels had a camber or caster issue, I forget, which was throwing the cross caster off. The rear tires had no indication of issue, but the fronts were wearing badly.
It was a weird explanation but I recall the paperwork showing one rear wheel out of spec quite a bit, once it was fixed the tire wear stopped. I'll have to locate the paperwork.

Re: measure radius rod accord 96 picture
one hours ago I went to the same guy in the alignment shop and he check the caster and the left side have 2 grades of caster and the right side have 2.5 grades of caster...
I told him (guy alignment shop) about the shim in the radius rod and he tell me I need to put the shim in the right side and remove the shim in the left side...
is that correct?
