Any advice for getting shift cable clip back on...
So, I'm doing a 5-speed swap on my '98 Odyssey. Tranny came out of a 4th gen accord.
I'm getting really close to having the car done, but I need to figure out how to get the retaining clip back on the rear (trans side) shifter cable.
There is a coolant fitting (temp housing maybe) directly above the cable mount and it seems there is no way to get this clip back on there! I have not had to drain my coolant, and would rather not have to, but is removing the hose/housing the only way to get access?
If you've got any tips please share! Thanks!

just drain the coolant if you have to...the key to working on cars is to make it as easy as possible for you...we're talking about $10 for a jug at Walmart. Just drain it.
