am talking about good power like 300+whp
i think inline pro made little over 400whp on a h22 with the headgasket a full 60-1 t4 turbo

Re: the OFFCIAL TURBO Prelude thread!!! (GudeH23a)
before i built my motor, i ran a 8.8 8th mile on just a drag gen 2 t3/t4 turbo kit and slicks. ran a 13.9 on slicks as well with missing 3rd gear and a bad oil seal on the turbo.

i personally want a 400+ whp beast that i can still dependably drive, so i drop a large chunk of change into building the crap out of it. with a larger turbo, i have no doubt that with my engine, i could hit close to the 600whp mark, and the engine still hold together

There's nothing out there under $500.00 thats any good. Even over $500.00 it's hard to find anything. I've searched and searched and found nothing.
I've ended up trying the make the thing myself.

The new Drag Gen4 cast manifolds may be an option for you. They look like they might run a 60-1. If they don't fit a 60-1 as is, they should difenitely fit one with a spacer, like the F-Max manifold. When I was buying all my materials there was still a long hold on the Gen4 Manifolds, and I was tired of waiting. I think I can make up a better manifold anyway. Material costs has been $180.00, so if this manifold doesn't work out for some reason it's not a big deal.

basically, in a word, everything. block re-sleeved, low compression pistons, high performance rods, head work is a good idea, fuel management for sure, and a turbo, you can just buy a kit, or you can assemble the setup yourself. there are a lot of good kits, but you can also build your own system to specifics

Re: the OFFCIAL TURBO Prelude thread!!!
Well since we are talking turbo talk here...(lol) Let's talk about street tires for a Boosted Lude. I am having major traction problems all the way through 3rd. What would be a good tire for 16 in. wheels. Azenis, A032, BFGood KDW's I have a quaife on the way so...I know that will help a little. But I need some good tires... recommendations?

Re: the OFFCIAL TURBO Prelude thread!!!
I hear talk of manifolds but dont see one mention of the Kiwi its the one I am planing on goign with for my h22a.
I stole this pics from another thread (so sue me )
It is my understanding that you can keep both a/c and powersteering with this manifold. Price is somewhere around 1300 I think not sure, its hard to get. I think Gudeh23a was looking into these at one point.

Yes that is the manifold i was looking into getting, but $1500 is quite expensive... i might have to wait and get that next summer. I actually found a place that produces these still, so check out:

The only thing I am unsure of is the wastegate placement. Cant see it too well on those pics that i posted. Almost looks from the pics that it is on the dp, but I am not sure. I have seen pics of the manifold with out the wastegate flang on it and I cant think of where a good place would be for it (near the collector prehaps?)

You're saying these guys still make the Kiwi? It was one guy that made them and he gave it up. Is he back again, or are they just copying the design?
There's no wastegate on the Kiwi Manifold. The one shown is using the stock turbo wastegate port that's on the turbine house. I wouldn't pay $1300.00 for any manifold. That's just crazy.

On a side note, given the small amount of space between the manifold and the turbo, I am not too sure myself if t60-1 will fit. I know that a t4e/t3 50a/r compressor will definitely fit with 1/4"-1/2" space between the manifold and turbo.
Oh, and you need to shave off some of the motor mount to fit the turbo.
