b series swap problems.

b series swap problems.
hey guys sorry to make a new account, I cannot seem to log into my old one... but here is the question that I have and I need a quick answer. I have a 91 civic si- with a b18 swap on cable clutch. my buddy and I are swapping motor transmission and ECUs. he has a 91 DX hatch. he is giving me a good amount of cash for the trade but I want beter fuel mileage. while the transmission is out I am slapping in a CRX HF tranny.
the physical swap is not an issue for me, but I don't know what to do with the wiring... should I just pull the entire harness from inside the fire wall of both cars to do the swap? or should I just cut and reconnect all of the appropriate connectors, from one car to the other.on my SI there is one extra plug, and there is a different plug entirely on the drivers side whrre the injectors run on my si.
any advice is appreciated, I will need an answer to this very soon both of the cars are already a part.

Re: b series swap problems.
no he has dual point injection. and I am NOT talking about the resistor box. we are both swapping engines. we both have full wireing harnesses. And both are running cars. Obd0 on both
