Best motor to do a turbo swap into a 92-95 civic??
Just want some peoples opinions. What would be the best? Its gunna be a build where im gunna take my time and rebuild the engine completely and I dont have huge amounts of money so its a budget build. Ive seen b16, b18 (LS and GSR), etc. What is the best?

I'd get a K series, since you'll be saving up over a period of time. It'll be your best bet and you won't regret a penny. Plus once you finally get it installed, it has enough power to keep you satisfied and not anxious to get your turbo slammed in right away. Some NA K series engines can outrun 8/10 cars on the street if tuned properly anyways.

I went from a D15 to a B18c1 and i was quite content with the results as i wasn't really conserned about other people and their personal opinions. A K motor would have been nice but i had to draw my line in the sand with my spending

I was in a B20/vf39 IHI turbo the other day, very impressed with the power and response. Talk about budget to, the manifold was a hack from an N/A header with a STI flang on it.

not sure what level your at however by the question you asked. I would assume that you don't really know the Hondas very well. Rebuilding a motor without prior experience is not advisable. get a stock GSR and boost it if oyu cant afford one get a B18B and boost it non V. LS/V later when you have money. make sure oyu use a GSR trans for best results.

how about just an LS since they would be easier to tune ( lower compression ratio ) and can run pretty good amount of boost just stock.
If you need parts super cheap, I have a turbo, manifold, downpipe, intercooler, + piping and couplers for a B series engine! I'm only asking 500 obo for all of it

Just because it is lower compression doesn't make it any easier to tune. Especially since you wouldn't be doing the tuning anyway. PSI means nothing without understanding the engine.
