haha painting the ic may decrease the whole purpose of the cooling ability, also you may not even need such a large size. Careful with the push to start, our hondas are super easy to steal! project looks like its going good tho man!

Re: 94? Accord Project
Stripped out the full interior today
Running out of space in my garage
Full car is stripped and ready..... Hopefully more updates Monday
I guess the full grey leather interior is for sale now if anyone's interested. PM me. Located in PA. I give it about a 7.5-8 out of 10. Maybe 8.5-9 if it gets cleaned up a little.
Also found these guys in my headliner lmao......

Re: 94? Accord Project
So I finally figured it out... The front ends are the same width but different lengths. The acura front is 2-3 inches longer. That being said, I need to extend the bumper support. I wish I would have taken a picture but I forgot. I'll get one later. I was gonna use wood but I figured that I probably should keep the rigidity of it. So I'm gonna get pieces of black pipe and longer bolts for that.
Right now there is a huge gap and it's gonna look kinda funny
Also the hood latch needs to be extended. The metal tube is pointing at the factory accord latch and then about 2-3 inches in front of it you can see the piece that needs to be latched.
Most of the fender bolts line up except this one. I'll probably just make a spacer so the body lines stay right.
The headlights are gonna require some work as well
I feel that I'm gonna get in trouble for this
Hmm black or grey leather?

Re: 94? Accord Project
Acura was a 4cyl. I was hoping they would have made it the same size as the accord. However they just made the v6 and 4cyl the same size

Re: 94? Accord Project
I am in for the progression of this. Also have a couple of questions. I'm actually looking at buying a 3.0CL and was wondering if the parts from the accord will swap over to it. I read through your build and it looks to me like most of them do. How are the body lines with what you have so far? I'm new to this chassis so I apologize. Miss my em1 even more now.

Body lines are ehh. The CL fenders have an arch on them almost like they're rolled. The accord fenders are basically flat so it looks kinda funny with arched front fenders and flat back fenders. The lines do not match up where the fender meets the door. There is a gap that you can see in my pics.

Re: 94? Accord Project
Lots of updates... Sort of. Not gonna boost it anymore. Not worth my time. Basically realized I'm never gonna drive the car fast. Might do a h22 swap but I doubt it. Prob will slap some nice headers/exhaust and do a cold air intake on the f22 and just leave it.
Anyway. Took off the CL front end. Cut out the rad support and then realized that it still won't even work unless I put in spacers down where the bumper support bolts. At this point I just wanna drive it so I'll come back to the CL front later on, maybe the winter.
Lines up for the most part up here
Down here there's a giant space that I'm gonna have to deal with.
Another pic
Last pic with it on for a little
Onto the interior. Coming along.
Sadly the back panels won't fit tho, along with most of the interior behind the front seats.
got some new wheels. Square g8 18x9.5 sitting on 215/40 tires. Still fake but I like how they sit. Fitment isn't perfect yet but I'm working on it
Got some new updates coming soon. Mostly trying to get it road ready at this point so probably not a lot of cosmetic things right now.

Re: 94? Accord Project
Nothing very exciting. Car is being looked over and inspected by a shop and will be on the road very soon. Hope to be bagged before 2015. Most of the recent stuff has just been regular work. New brake pads, checkin light bulbs, horn, etc all stuff for inspection. Had to get my windshield replaced because it decided it wanted to crack, so hopefully next time I see the car it'll have 2015 inspection stickers. It's been awhile since this was on the road
Had to hook up an eBay camber kit to get the wheel to tuck before I bag it. Camber looks nice.
Had to use 2 15s cause 2 of my 18s tires are shot. Lol.
Just curious as to how wide people are running wheels. These are only 9.5 and I barely have room. Maybe an inch between wheel and rear trailing arm or whatever that's called
Random interior shot
Starting to fabricate air control box type thing. Gonna hide it in the armrest. Gonna wrap the wood in black suede to match my armrest
Parts starting to show up

Re: 94? Accord Project
I can run 17x8" wheel with a +45 offset on the rear. Real close, but it clears. The problem with contacting the trailing arm or the knuckle is more with the tire than the wheel. With the short sidewall of my 215/45/17 tires there is no contact.
