Default Blox valve spring and skunk2 pro 2 cams

I have blox dual springs and ti retainers. I'm about to upgrade to skunk2 pro 2 cams. Will the blox springs be able to handle these cams?

Supertech had suggested their SPR-H100DR for use with Pro2 cams when I contacted them. Hope that helps

Or you can run Skunk2 Pro series valve train....

My guess is the blox valvetrain is mocked up after the tuner vt.

The pro series VT has a 62lbs seat pressure, i'm believe the tuner vt is lower, thus making the blox vt lower.

I would also, run ST.

Doing some research, this is what I come up with-

Seat Pressure: 78 lbs @ 33.4mm
Open Pressure: 212 lbs @ 21.4mm
Max Lift: 12mm
Coil Bind: 18.8mm

Oh, to clear up, This was measured @ the machine shop. Not by "advertised" specs from skunk2.

What spring tester do you use to measure the pressure in the head?

The guy that does all of my machining as well as the machine work for my customers and business does all of this. This is what he measured with the springs i sent him.

Now that I think about it, maybe i was talking about retainer height and had a brain fart. *shrugs* In anycase, 62lbs is the seat pressure for pro series springs and is the "minimal" required by sk2. I'm "assuming" by uncle dave saying what does your head have, means whats the actual pressure of the springs.. its also very possible that due to it being so hot, that i'm working on half a brain. Either or.

I believe i have a pic of my spring seat pressure measurements and retainer height measured as well floating around here.

I see what you are getting at. The springs need to be tested as if they are installed in the head, i.e. with the retainer and spring seat, which is how I measure them.
