Default Will a shifter for a 96-98 civic hit my 93 civic?

Hey guys I was out and about and found a Spoon Sports short shifter for $15 I talked them down to $10 and walked away happy. Well they told me that it was for a 98 Civic. I have a 93 Civic hatch I just want to know if I can use it in my 93 or if I would be better off just to resell it?
ANy and all help will be great thank you so much guys!

Try it. You already bought it. A quick Google search would've given you your answer though.

That's because you were probably SPECIFICALLY looking for something on a Spoon shifter. What you SHOULD have done was look to see if shifters were compatible between the models in question. For instance; if a Skunk 2 shifter can fit 92-00 then critical thinking dictates that any shifter can fit those same years.

Spoon sports doesnt make a shifter for 92-00 civic, as far as I know. So most likely is some cheap ebay/amazon shifter that said "spoon style" in the title.

This is what I was asking about. The s# on the box starts with SS as well, which I just thought was Spoon Sports so maybe just the **** is SS but still I only paid $10 for it I'm happy!

SS? What is the significance of that? still fake/cheap parts regardless where you bought it.
