Del Sol Low Pedal Help
Ive got a 93 honda del sol (rear drum). I have lost my brake pedal and it only catches at the verryy end. Ive tried everything. I drove my car to work with a great brake pedal, before i left i balanced all four tires. Leaving the parking lot i realized i had no brake pedal at all. I put it back on the lift, there were NO LEAKS no fluid lost from resavoir. I assumed master cylinder but still wasnt sure at this point. I drove home with a very low pedal/ebrake. I got a brand new master cylinder, bench bled it, and installed in my car. Still no pedal. I then thought to try to bleed the whole system. Both rear wheel cylinders had frozen bleeders so i replaced rear wheel cylinders, inspected my whole rear brake set up, and replaced two rear short hardlines. I bleed the brakes over and over still no pedal. I took apart the whole front brake setup inspected and everything is fine.
Everyone says that its not a vacuum booster, Because i would have a hard pedal BUT after all the bleeding i hear an internal clicking from the brake booster while pressing the pedal. Is it even possible to have a internal failure in the brake booster which would cause the pedal to only catch at end.?
