If you want the best trans fluid go to the dealer and purchase some of their Honda manual trans fluid. I use it on my t2w4 lsd trans and never have had an issue.

10w30 is perfectly fine to use...if you are picky go with honda oem MTF .
Get 3 quarts although i think it will only hold between 2.3 and 2.6qts

^10W/30 got me 1st-2nd grinds on cold days in the morning and notchy shifting until the car was warmed up all other times of the year. Changed to Honda MTF and it all instantly went away, trans has been in the car for about 4 years and hasn't had a grind in 3.
Get the Honda MTF, it's a huge difference from regular oil, ignore anyone who says otherwise.

i have used 10w30 in most of our H swaps and b swaps and have never had a grind or pop out.
Honda mtf is almost identical as 10 30 but with more detergents and additives.

^Must have been a very long time since you've opened a bottle to look at that clear fluid with the unique and very strong smell to say it's identical to 10w/30...

well the old formula was like 10w30. the new formula i have not tried so i cannot say anything about current mtf they sell..
I do use 10w30 in all my trans and have no issues..
prelude vtec all original 212k miles using 10w30
94 accord h22 with lsd (40k roughly) 10w30
94 civic h22 non lsd 58k roughly 10w30
To be honest, i will get me a few qts of honda mtf and try it out... You guys got me curious as to how well it is... being as how smooth my transmission shift i wonder if i would even tell a difference..lol
