94 accord brake upgrade (96 ex)
I have a 94 accord 2 door DX (solid roof no sunroof and crank windows!!, WOOHOO)
anyways here is the story, I have a customer who has a 96 EX 4 door that has been sitting for 3 years and has a blown head gasket, I was supposed to be able to buy this car and fix the engine and sell it for profit but the guy has gone to prison and well lets just say he isn't gonna be out for awhile....
Here's my plan to make the 94 2 door brake a little better because as it sits the brake just plain suck (little rotors in the front and drums in the back) I have done tons of h swaps (my 94 is h22a lsd swapped) and i have done plenty of brake upgrades on civics before (94 01 integra stuff all the way around) so i am quite familiar with those but i have Never done a brake upgrade on a accord.
So heres what i need to know. What all needs to be done to do this conversion...I wanna do a complete swap from one car to the other meaning putting the 96 EX front bigger brakes and rear disc setup on my accord. I believe the Whole rear assemblies will just swap over with ebrake cables and all as well as the brake hoses. BUT, on the front would i be able to keep my current knuckles and just put the 96 ex caliper brackets, calipers, brake pads and rotors on my existing knuckles or do i have to swap the whole knuckle with everything on it untouched?
Can someone please share with me how they did their conversion..
TIA and i hope this thread doesn't become a 500 views a 0 replies type thread but i can only hope someone with previous knowledge of doing this can help me

ha, just found out the wagon is the only accord 94 97 that has bigger rotors up front so i guess i will only be doing the rear disc swap.

The rear swap is pretty straightforward, the hardest part is doing the handbrake cables. I had to remove the exhaust and the heat shield and also the backseat to get that done..
You will also want to get the proportioning valve from an early 90's non-abs integra.. Commonly called the "4040" valve. It will give the rear brakes the correct amount of pressure for it to make a difference to the performance. Should be around $30 - $40 on ebay
Finally, don't underrate what difference good tyres and brake pads can make

do ROH conversion from the acura CL and upgrade to dual piston legend front brakes, and just get EX rear trailing arms and do a rear disk conversion.
