Hey guys so I'm in a pickle lol I recently swapped out the tired d15 out of my hatch and I picked up an Ls swapped everything in but it tries to start but just doesn't things I've done as of last night
Compression check
Checked for spark replaced ecu,fuses, main relay
I can't really figure it out any help guys?

Also swapped the obd2 wire harness out but I'm more than possitive it works because my buddy is running a 00 gsr wire harness on his hatch runs just fine

all you have to do is use a obd1 ls distributor and your FACTORY harness. you will not plug in the crank position sensor on the oil pump tho.

and a obd1 ecu.

I looked it up. As far as EGs go all you need is the ls engine harness and plug it to the shock tower plug on your eg. Then use a obd1 ecu

That's what I did went out bought an obd1 p75 and I'm using the Ls wire harness as many people have said they are comparable with the Eg strut tower plugs . Everything is plugged in just won't start

Do you hear the pump prime?
What color spark were you getting from the plugs?
Do you have any grounds loose?

Checked all grounds cleaned the mating surface fuel pump I do hear somewhat a faint prime . I got spark ,I can't really tell what color since I'm out in pure daylight and can't see what color it could be

well the distributor still needs to be wired to obd1 i believe. personally i would have just used the original eg harness and a obd1 distributor. (Guranteed to work that way)

could you could try using the obd2 computer with a obd1 - obd2 a/b conversion harness

Well I know that as long as I can use the obd2 harness I can use the alternator and distributor .
As of 10min ago I can't hear the fuel pump prime anymore

I can but wouldn't that be the same thing as using and obd1 ecu?

If the pump is pressurized you won't hear it. Pull the dizzy and check the prongs that meet the camshaft. There was a guy before that somehow broke the prongs and it wouldn't crank the cam.

Yeah you need a OBD1 dizzy for sure.

Not if I'm using the obd2 harness I've ran my old Eg like that .

I havnt touched the motor I pulled it from a wrecked integra and all I did was throw a clutch flywheel and tranny on it
